This was my 9th Civil War Hunt and as usual I had a blast. I recovered the normal stuff including a couple bullet beuties, 2 Confederate Enfields. I was thrilled to pop 3 neat silver coins as pictured. They are not Civil War related but it is always fun to find them. This is my first French Franc and my first Spanish Silver. Sweeeeeeeet.

Digging Civil War bullets never gets old. Three Minie Balls on the left along side one that is totally smashed. Two much more scarce Confederate Enfield bullets on the right.

Heavy weight Virginia dog tag. dated 1992 with the female dog name Jodie.

Period mount. Same size as a Rossette.

Very old key hole cover. English markings.

Assorted flat buttons. Mostly Colonial period.

Wow look at all these Spencer Shell casings. The introduction of the Spencer enabled the Yankees to fire 6 bullets to every one bullet the Rebels could fire thus helping to their ultimate victory.
